This is used as a fire suppression chemical in lieu of more environmentally hazardous chemistry such as FM 200, SF6, etc. Used in places where water fire sprinker systems cannot be used.

Used as a clean agent in fire suppression systems where water cannot be used. Can also be used as a cover gas for magnesium or reactive metal smelting.
